Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Doro Technologies platform ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Doro Technologies Limited ("Doro", "we", "us") is registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre ("DIFC"), Dubai, UAE.
2. Nature of the Service
Doro is a non-custodial payment orchestration platform. We facilitate the conversion and settlement of cryptocurrency to fiat currency for use in UAE real estate transactions.
You acknowledge and agree that:
• Doro does not hold, store, or custody your funds or cryptocurrency at any point.
• Doro is not a bank, exchange, financial advisor, or investment service.
• Doro does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
• All payments are facilitated through licensed third-party providers.
3. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be duly authorised to act on behalf of any business entity you represent.
• Successfully complete our KYC/KYB verification process.
• Not be located in, or a national of, any jurisdiction subject to applicable sanctions.
We reserve the right to refuse access to any individual or entity at our sole discretion.
4. Identity Verification (KYC/KYB)
All users are required to complete identity and business verification before transacting on the Platform. This process is conducted through our licensed third-party identity verification provider.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during verification. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate termination of access and may be reported to relevant authorities.
5. User Obligations
By using the Platform, you agree to:
• Provide accurate information at all times and promptly notify us of any changes.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and crypto wallet.
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not use the Platform in connection with any transaction that violates UAE law, DIFC regulations, or international sanctions.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform or its underlying systems.
6. Prohibited Use
The Platform must not be used, directly or indirectly, in connection with:
• Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any activity prohibited under UAE AML/CFT laws.
• Transactions involving sanctioned individuals, entities, or jurisdictions.
• Fraud, deception, or any other unlawful activity.
• Any activity that would violate the rules or regulations of the DIFC Financial Services Authority (DFSA) or any other applicable regulatory body.
We conduct ongoing fraud detection and transaction monitoring through trusted third-party compliance platforms. We reserve the right to suspend or report any transaction or user we reasonably suspect of prohibited activity.
7. Transaction Finality
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by their nature. Once a transaction has been initiated on the Platform, it cannot be recalled, reversed, or cancelled by Doro.
You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and recipient details before initiating any transaction. Doro accepts no liability for losses arising from user error.
8. Fraud Detection and Compliance Monitoring
Doro uses trusted third-party platforms to conduct wallet screening, fraud detection, and transaction monitoring as part of our compliance obligations. By using the Platform, you consent to your transaction data being processed for these purposes.
We may suspend, delay, or decline any transaction that does not pass our compliance checks, without prior notice and without liability.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, technology, branding, and materials on the Platform are the exclusive property of Doro Technologies Limited or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, logo, or intellectual property without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doro shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:
• Cryptocurrency market volatility or adverse exchange rate movements.
• Errors in wallet addresses or transaction details submitted by users.
• Failures, delays, or interruptions caused by third-party service providers.
• Force majeure events, including regulatory changes, network outages, or acts of God.
• Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain adequate security.
In no event shall Doro’s aggregate liability to you exceed the value of the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
11. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe:
• You have breached these Terms.
• Your use of the Platform poses a legal, regulatory, or compliance risk.
• We are required to do so by a regulatory authority or court order.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to termination, including our right to retain records as required by applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify users prior to the changes taking effect. Continued use of the Platform following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the DIFC, Dubai. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts.
